About Us
The Avery Point Global Café is a campus learning community engaged in critical dialogues on topics related to local environments and global citizenship. Global Café’s mission is to bridge disciplinary perspectives, provide students opportunities to make connections across courses, and enrich our campus's learning community through lunchtime discussions and events. Our dialogues are designed to help our students, faculty and staff talk and listen to one another more effectively—to encourage participants to understand one another's points of view, find common ground, collaborate, and respectfully solve problems.
